The Bouvier Des Flandres dog breed adapts to people well, having an exceptionally high tolerance for children. It prefers the indoors making an excellent house pet. It is also a pet of choice for the elderly being very loving and affectionate with its master while suspicious of strangers.

The Bouvier Des Flanders dog breed has a medium length, course, dry matte coat that is gray, brindle or black with white traces. This breed does shed while needing minimal grooming. It ranges in height from 22-27 inches and weighs from 80-100 pounds.
